In past I could update firmware with nrf connect app on android over Bluetooth using standard firmware update feature of nrf connect. Now when I download firmware release from GitHub I can select the ZIP file for upload but the upload terminates within one second. I can read the watch with the Android app and I can connect to it with nrf connect. Booting watch says boot 1.2.99. is there hard reset option? Do I need Nordic development board to reset firmware over USB? I would like to upgrade to 1.5.1
Sorry about the issues you are facing. The firmware 1.5.1 had some issues which prevented the update on occasions. We are working on that and we will release an update shortly. For hard reset, yes there is an option to hold the main crown button down for 10 seconds (without USB connected and it should reset).Â
