EL inverters allow you to drive EL wires. This inverter accepts 12V input and produces AC voltage to drive upto 10m of EL Wire.  Input is given through wire leads (the red and black ones) and the EL wire can be connected to the standard EL wire connector. You can use these inverters to directly drive EL wire. 

To use these, you simply plug in any length of EL wire up to 10 meters, plug the other end of the inverter to a 12V power supply.
