ProtoCentral U2U Bridge (FTDI 230X)

The U2U is a USB to Serial-TTL UART bridge converter which is very small and easy to use. It uses a micro-B type USB connector to connect to your PC and is based on the FTDI 230X which has an optimized pin count for compact designs such as our U2U.

RX and TX signals are both 3.3V (at max 50 mA) and 5V (at max 100 mA) tolerant. An onboard voltage switch allows for switching between voltage requirements depending on the Arduino you would like to use it with. The onboard micro-USB controller removes the hassles of USB specific firmware programming.

USB Battery Charger Detection. Allows for USB peripheral devices to detect the presence of a higher power source to enable improved charging. This means external power can be supplied using this. Transmit and receive LED drive signals.The USB 2.0 compatible.
